Looking to switch to a non-toxic, plant-based hand soap that’s gentle on skin and safe for the whole family?
This simple DIY uses clean, eco-friendly ingredients to create a moisturizing foaming hand soap you’ll love.
1/4 cup liquid Castile soap (pure, natural cleanser)
3/4 cup distilled water (prevents bacteria growth)
1–2 tsp vegetable glycerin (for hydration and softness)I recommend this over jojoba oil or another natural oil, because it blends beautifully without having to shake it before each use.
10–20 drops essential oils (natural fragrance + other benefits)
Add Castile soap to a reusable foaming dispenser. It must be a foaming dispenser in order to use this foaming hand soap properly.
Stir in vegetable glycerin and essential oils (like lavender, tea tree, or citrus).
Fill with distilled water, leaving room for the pump.
Shake gently to combine.
This DIY clean beauty recipe is free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, and sulfates—perfect for anyone embracing natural skincare and eco-conscious living.
I should warn you though! This was the gateway for me making clean sustainable swaps 😉
